Training Conferences and Seminars
Central West Virginia Aging Services, Inc. is an approved provider for continuing education hours for Licensed Social Workers, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Registered Nurses.
We offer one-day Seminars throughout the year.

 The following is a sample of the workshops that have been offered in the past:
- "Live, Life, Laughing" - Learn the importance of laughter in dealing with every day life and living. 3.0 CE hours
- "The Concept of Hospice" - Explore how hospice began, what it is and what it means to you, your family and friends. 3.0 CE hours
- "Could Something be 'Bugging' You or Those You Serve" - A focus on infectious disease of the aging population, employee health issues, preventive health care and emerging infectious conditions. 3.0 CE hours
- And other workshops on topics such as: Domestic Violence Awareness, Ethics, Alzheimer's, Advance Directives, Social Security, Adverse Drug Events and Interactions and Health Assessment.
